Hijinx'd

Farnsworth returned to crap and Moose gave up five SO FAR in the first inning.

This team desperately needs to un-fuck itself.

EDIT: Sixth run just crossed home in the first. He has walked in a run against Ramon Hernandez and gotten hit around by the bottom of the Baltimore lineup.

Whatever all but one are unearned. Not his fault.

He still has to pitch after errors like every other pitcher in baseball.

Good showing, Moose.

I say all the runs were unearned because you jinxed him.

Worst of all though was Hawkins trying to hit people.

Give the guy a break, he has won his last few starts and has been very clutch for them.

You're right.

Moose, because you won your previous couple of starts, you are hereby absolved from sucking last night and all of last season.

Shine on, you noodle-armed turd. And thanks for reading.

The guy has done more good than harm over the last couple weeks and you want to kill him. Maybe if you were a real fan you'd see how much of an asset Moose is. If he pitches well we won't have to waste Joba's natural ability as a reliever.

You know, when sports writers are pondering over Moose's Hall of Fame ballot in a few years I hope they ask themselves "Did he do more good than harm in 5 game stints?"

I praised Moose a few posts ago for what a great stretch he was having but last night was an abortion.

If he pitches well, the Yankees will win more baseball games, therefore I root for Moose. His performance last season and his diminished stuff give us little reason to expect this from him. Those five games could easily be a blip.

Him pitching well has nothing to do with Joba joining the rotation which will happen no matter what (and that's a good thing).

I say all of this half-thinking that you're having fun with me.

If you were a real fan you'd turn this place into a gif of you constantly applauding.

Seriously. Can you do that?

You can go to any Red Sox site for that.
